I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world

These are the comforting and reassuring words of Jesus Christ as He gave the disciples (and all true followers) the authority to preach the gospel message of His death and Resurrection. Jesus had warned His followers that they could expect opposition and even hard times when they spoke of Him. But Jesus affirmed that whilst there may be tribulation, His followers were to be bold and courageous and have confidence because through His death and Resurrection God had provided the way to overcome all the conflicting issues of the world, with the greatest victory being over death.
